Most locals are familiar with Enterprise Bank and Trust’s long-standing history in New Mexico and the varied financial products and services they offer, but many don’t know that the bank and its employees are also generous philanthropic supporters of our community.

“We deeply care about the communities we serve and know how important it is to give back through philanthropic support,” says Dion Silva, Enterprise Bank and Trust Santa Fe Region President. That commitment is reflected as Enterprise Bank and Trust has concretely demonstrated its support for local nonprofits and community events over the years. That support has ranged from sponsorships, special event support and employee volunteerism, including board involvement.

Esperanza Shelter is one agency that continues to benefit from Enterprise’s commitment, and not just from its invaluable financial contributions. Its support also has come through Enterprise employee participation in projects throughout the years. Enterprise employees also have served on the Esperanza Shelter Board of Directors, contributing business expertise and community knowledge to our financial and strategic business planning.

In 2019, Enterprise’s commitment was further demonstrated as it established a three-year matching grant of up to $10,000 per year for our Seeds of Hope children’s program. The grant encourages matching contributions from businesses and individuals in the community, up to $10,000 per year, to match the Enterprise commitment. The support of this program from the Enterprise Santa Fe region helps us provide much-needed services to youth in our community who are experiencing domestic violence.

For Enterprise, partnering with Esperanza Shelter aligns with the bank’s mission of improving the communities they serve. “We are grateful for the services that Esperanza has provided the Santa Fe community for 45 years, and we know that the work you’re doing is vital,” explains Silva. “Our employees have developed a strong bond with Esperanza’s mission.”

“Esperanza deeply values and appreciates its partnership with Enterprise Bank and Trust as we continue our mission to shelter those threatened by domestic violence and to support development of healthy relationships,” adds Esperanza Shelter Executive Director, Anji Estrellas.
