Volunteer Coordinator
Hours: 20 hours per week
Salary: $15-$16 hour
Classification: FLSA exempt
The Volunteer Coordinator is a part-time position that works under the Outreach and Education Coordinator and the Executive Director to successfully recruit and manage Esperanza’s volunteer corps. This position develops and implements year-round volunteer opportunities that fill key needs within Esperanza’s programs. The Volunteer Coordinator also is responsible for implementing programs that ensure volunteer retention and appreciation. This position is responsible for ensuring that all volunteers receive criminal background checks and adhere to agency confidentiality policies.

Foodservice and Donations Assistant
Program: Residential
Report To: Residential Services Coordinator
Hours: Part-time 20 hours a week
Wage: $12-$14 Per Hour; paid leave, option to enroll in employer sponsored retirement plan after one year
Description:
To provide services at the shelter such as purchasing food and non-food supplies, picking up food and non-food supplies at Food Depot and other facilities/stores, as needed. Receiving and organizing commodities closet, and upkeep of the kitchen area per health codes and other policies. Help facilitate the management of donated items for use at the shelter and distribution to residents. Regular pick up of donated items at the Administration building, sort and organize donated items.

Counseling Services Coordinator (CSC)-Non-Res.
Reports to: Executive Director
Hours: 30-35 hours/week/negotiable some evenings required
Salary Range: $35,000-$43,000, medical/dental benefits available; paid leave;
employer-sponsored retirement plan.
Description: The CSC of Esperanza is responsible for working with the Executive Director (ED) to develop, maintain and ensure the effectiveness of the non-residential counseling services. Our counseling program is designed to effectively reduce the existence of domestic violence in our community through our work with offenders, survivors and children who have experienced domestic violence. Esperanza currently facilitates weekly non-residential counseling groups including groups for Spanish-speaking and LGBTQ survivors and offenders.
